Pasqual's

Dear Pasqual’s Loyal Customers,

After 25 years in our current location, we have decided to make a move. We will still be on Monroe Street, only a few blocks away, in the building that housed The Dardanelles Restaurant for 15 years. We have many reasons for moving, most are positive. We wanted to take a few minutes to share these reasons.

As some of you may know we recently took over business at the old Ancora café at 1859 Monroe Street, right next door to Dardanelles. Business has been great! We see an opportunity to make operations more efficient and synergistic having Pasqual’s and gallup coffee & bakehouse right next to each other.

In addition to the restaurant, our wholesale business of our fresh Chips, Salsas and Dips has burst over the past year and we need space to handle this. We will be keeping our current Pasqual’s kitchen and using it as a commissary and wholesale space for all our businesses. In addition, we will be using it for cooking classes and Circolo & Pasqual’s catering over flow.

For Theresa, our Tower of Strength, and our staff, this will give some freshness. It is nice to be able to work in a safe and new feeling environment. 80% of our employees have been with us for over 6 years and we feel they deserve a new “home” of sorts.

More good news is that the Monroe Street Fine Arts Center has been in need of an expansion for the last 2 years and has been looking for a space in the area with not much luck. We all put our heads together and determined that there was no better spot than the east dining room of the current Pasqual’s. We are excited and proud to be able to take part in their growth.

I know that this move may be as tough on your hearts as it is on ours. I understand. I have worked for Pasqual’s from the very beginning, as a teenager. I have spent thousands of hours here and have many memories. With care and effort we have tried to make certain that the new space has that “Pasqual’s feeling.” And we will have the same awesome employees that we have had for years.

Thank you for your loyalty. We deeply appreciate your continued business and support.
